The room was brand-new and offered a shower and a hairdryer, so that guests had essentials. The location was ideal and exceptionally nice, down the hill, in the pretty area. Del Mar district was worth exploring.

Great service, large breakfast. The rooms with the most comfortable bed and microwave, for example. Particularly good location, 15 minutes walk from Torrey Pines State Beach beach.

Well-maintained property, pet-friendly and accommodating staff, great food, and clean outdoor deck and pool. Newly renovated rooms, easy access to elevated parking, attractive lobby and restaurant/lounge. Nice outdoor seating for relaxing in the evening. Short walk to the village for restaurants, shops, and gelato. Will return.

The room was stylish and tastefully decorated and the beds were comfortable. The setting was ideal, next to resturants and Del Mar restaurants.

Actually everything was amazing, my next choice again in San Diego. The hotel was exceptional with very amiable personnel. The rooms where stylish with a stove top, sofa bed plus mini fridge and the breakfast was large. The location was ideal and comfortable, next to restaurants, like Jakes and Bullies. Enjoyed the outdoor bar.

The room was beautiful and wonderful and the bathroom was spacious. Greatly enjoyed its ocean views. The location was great and gorgeous, not far from the beach and Del Mar Village and the local restaurants and San Diego and Carlsbad.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were not very friendly.

It has helpful and attentive staff and great views. The setting is particularly good and beautiful, short walk to the other glorious beaches between Mission Bay and Encinitas and La Jolla and So close to the beach.

Really enjoyed our rooms with a view. The location of the hotel was stunning and magnificent - not very far from Powerhouse Park.

There were comfy beds and a high ceiling and a balcony in the deluxe room. The location was stunning, overlooking the sea. Also, Powerhouse Park was 1 mile away from the hotel.

My partner and I had an amazing experience at this beachfront hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to a public beach and surrounded by great restaurants. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a stunning view of the ocean from the balcony. The service from the friendly staff was exceptional, making us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. The hotel facilities, including the two pool areas, were well-maintained and added to the overall enjoyment of our trip.

The gym could use more natural light and could be better equipped for workouts.

Great room for only $20 extra a night for the upgrade. Good value for money and good location, 10 mins walk from beach, restaurants and shops and just 20 min drive to Seaworld in San Diego, the other beach towns are very close as well. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Del Mar.

There was quite a bit of building work going on and we had our water cut on the last day although we were given another room to shower in so not a problem but there were alot of workmen around and drilling on saturday etc wasn't great. April is considered 'out of season' hence building work/maintenance was going on in a few hotels we stayed at.

Spacious room and bathroom with bathtub. Good location and enough parking. Wonderful staff--very accommodating, especially Barbara. Good breakfast and plenty of food. Great location with easy access to Del Mar, Solano Beach and La Jolla. Would definitely stay again.

We were not told that the room we booked had construction in the adjoining patio, however, the workman were fairly quiet early in the morning. There were kids running around the wooden decks in front of our room early one morning. Plumbing is noisy in the bathrooms.
